Wire Wrapping Fun!

I've been trying out a bit of wire wrapping. I had a go at it a few years ago and couldn't really get the hang of it but over the weekend I just picked up some wire and gorgeous random stones I had lying around and went for it!

It was really satisfying, and I'm pretty pleased with the big black one in the centre, it turned out exactly as I had imagined it looking, which is rare and very very pleasing!

It's a good reminder of the fact that if something interests you its always worth having another go at it, even if you're a bit discouraged at the start (hopefully I can remember this as I learn to drive!)

I'm really happy with the black one in particular!
So pretty.

Some Selfish Bits!

Here's a few things I have made for myself recently.

1. A project book for writing up all my patterns and designs.

2. A wallet made from a fat quarter, complete with 8 card slots, receipt pocket and coin pouch.

3. Project bags for my knitting to keep things clean and, most importantly, separate!

4. A charm bracelet I put together, each charm represents something important to me.

5. Large overnight/weekend bag, perfect for my recent trip to Shetland.

Back From Holiday!

After making the tartan messenger bag I was commissioned to make this teal one! I'm always surprised by how much quicker it is to make a design the second time. The fabric was gorgeous to work with and the customer was pleased, a successful make all round!
